On the inaugural cruise of the Mayercraft, John Mayer had so much fun that he had decided he will do it again. On March 27, 2009, the four night cruise, called Mayercraft Carrier 2, will be leaving Long Beach and then spend one day in the city of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. According to the website for the event, this party on the sea aboard Carnival Splendor’s cruise ship will include theme nights, contests and non-stop music. Guster, the alternative rockers, is the first act to be announced. Many more will participate.

More dates have been added to John Mayer’s upcoming summer tour. It will occur at the same time that he releases his CD/DVD live collection. Mayer’s trek, sponsored by BlackBerry, will kickoff at Summerfest in Milwaukee on July 2. Brett Dennen and Colbie Caillat will be joining John on his first leg. The trek will be visiting cites across the US in addition to Toronto through the first part of August.

Dates for John Mayer’s summer tour have been announced. Brett Dennen and Colbie Caillat will be the openers for the trek as Mayer continues supporting his album “Continuum,” which was released last year. On July 2, the outing for the songwriter/singer will be kicking off at Summerfest in Milwaukee and then be traveling to 21 cities until early August. It will include a Mayer appearance at Rothbury Festival on July 6 in Michigan.

Early next year, John Mayer, Grammy award winning songwriter/singer, will be launching a major headlining tour as he continues to back “Continuum,” the critically acclaimed album of Mayer’s. The tour will be kicking off in Jacksonville, FL on January 25 with about 24 dates scheduled through February, which includes the finale on February 28 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Tickets for most of the sale will be going on sale next month to the general public.

A summer leg has been added by John Mayer to his tour in support of “Continuum,” his platinum-selling album released in September. This follows his two wins at the Grammys earlier this month. Currently, Mayer is touring the Eastern part of the US. The winter trek will wrap up at Madison Square Garden in New York City with a sold out show on February 28. From April 1-12 Mayer will be in Australia before starting on a run in Canada that will last through May 1.
